Update on Girl with Thyroid Problems

The doctor says she must take medicines for one month to recover from breath and lung problems. She will then be given more tests and they will decide about surgery.

She is an abnormal child but she can feel some one is taking care of her and wants her to be healthy like other normal children. She cannot understand medical process but she can understand love which is being shown to make her healthy. I wish you were here to see her expression when she was told about the surgery. She is happy for this all.

Her parents are very thankful to God for this surgery because they know it will heal their child. They have told to their Muslim neighbors about this and it will be a testimony of goodness of Christian people. All the people of the village know about her sickness. When she has recovered, all will know about the miraculous help of God through His people.

Ministry Summary from Saul

We are thankful to God for everything which he has done with us and through His people. We are being raised up by the Grace and Holy Spirit of God in our ministry work. We are reaching out to new people because God has allowed us to meet these people with new power.

Resurrecting Hope Sewing School

This School was started with 20 girls for a sewing course duration of 6 months. The first 6 months are completed and the girls have learned a lot. The next group of new girls will be admitted soon for classes. The girls are very happy because now they can sew clothes themselves. Praise The Lord.

Resurrecting Hope Primary School

This was started in April with a big ceremony; it is on its way. Children are growing in spiritual and formal education. We have many children who come to our school. Teachers are teaching them with love and care. The school building is small but we are praying to God for a big building. When it is available we shall use it because we have many children but we have only three rooms in our current school.

Now this is time for summer vacations for 2 and half months. We will have summer camp to keep children in touch with us. RHP School is responsible for the spiritual and physical growth of these poor children.

Ministry Work

Door to Door Ministry

We are still meeting with people in different villages and in our colonies. We visit door to door to meet and teach people. God is blessing us with new doors in different villages.

Prayer Meetings

We have prayer meetings on Friday and Sunday, more than 500 people attend our prayer meetings each week. We are praying to God to extent these meetings to other villages so that many more people can join us and learn. 

Youth Spiritual Development

Our work with youth is going very good, I already have trained 12 boys (ages 15-25 years old) to reach out to people. These boys are doing good work in Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Bahawal, Nagar, and Faisalabad. Through these boys God is sending us to people who have never been reached by any person. We have also formed a cricket team of young people. We have played cricket matches with a Hindu cricket team and soon we shall play against Muslims. These matches are used to develop an environment of harmony among these three religions.

Bible Study Group

We have started a Bible study group for youth. We come together to share the Word of God. We don’t have a teacher as we are all friends and share the spiritual experiences and Word with each other.

Children Spiritual Growth

We have more than 150 Christian poor children in different villages that are not coming to our school but we have not forgotten them. We are reaching out to them also. My feet stand on level ground. I will praise the LORD with the choirs in worship. (Ps 26:12) We have taught children in groups in different villages so that they may get Biblical education from us.

Baptism

New people are getting baptism soon in other areas. We are praying for them and you also keep praying for them.

Prayer Requests

• We have extended our work in other cities and we need your prayers and love for this work. Pray for Bibles to give to these new people.
• Pray for the new people who are going to four new cities where we have started God’s work.
• A girl needs surgery because she has thyroids, we are waiting for her tests report keep her in your prayer for surgery is so complicated.

With your help and prayers we are doing many more things for our people to develop their lives. What we are doing is for God not for us, we believe God will bless us with more work with His people.
