This is a quick newsletter to alert you to a couple of needs that Saul has forwarded to me.

The first is an 18-year-old girl who has a severe thyroid problem. As you can see from this picture, it is greatly enlarged.

She cannot breathe well and the doctor says she could be in danger in future due to this condition. She feels sever pain in her neck but breathing is the biggest problem for her. She cannot sleep well because the swollen gland is heavy on her neck. She is also having blood problem, the quantity of blood in her body is less than normal.

The doctor says she needs major surgery and this can be done in any bigger hospital where the medical facilities are available. However, her parents are poor and can’t afford this life saving operation.

Saul is asking for help for the family so that they can afford the treatment and surgery. This is needed to save her life. If God puts it in your heart you can help save her life by sending help for treatment and surgery.

(Update June 8th)

This is another quick update to let you know that the funds have been raised for the operation for the girl with a thyroid problem. Please pray that the testing and surgery will be successful so that she will be able to live a normal life. Pray also that this would be a testimony to non-Christians in the area of God’s love.

Another request is for a little boy whose face was badly burnt. He is recovering very quickly but he feels a lot of burning on his skin. The doctor says he needs a special kind of treatment to stop this sensation. His parents can’t afford this treatment; please if you can do something for this boy as it is only $80.

Please say prayers to God and ask him what you can do for these sick children, especially for girl with the thyroid problem. 

I don’t normally ask people to forward things to others because most of the stuff isn’t of any eternal value. However the only way that this young girl will get any help is by letting God’s people know the need. If you can’t help financially, please pray that others would be able to step up and provide the funds necessary.
